Why do people want hurricanes to hit them?

and people truly want Spec's Gustav to hit him.

  3. It gives them a chance to be victims, get interviewed on CNN, blame the government for not helping them, get aid and have a good time.

  4. Some people believe it will promote the global warming agenda AND make Republicans look bad. I want storms for the most obvious reasons, we need the water. The south and southeast region of our country lie in a desert latitude. If we don't get tropical storms and hurricanes we have wicked droughts. We haven't fully recovered from the last drought we had. We still need more rain.

    he doesnt get snow days.

    Other than that its miserable everythings closed police dont let you drive...no electric everything gets hot hard to keep food cold at times no toilets ....is that fun???NO!!

  6. What are you talking about, obviously you have never lived in a hurricane area or you would not make such ridiculous and ignorant comments. No one wants disaster, use your head.

    Judging from your other responses there is more than enough ignorance and hubris floating around for everyone. Shame on all of you. Someday you'll be victims of a crime or a catastrophe and you'll remember this. Karma, it's a wonderful thing.

  9. i live in lafourche parish of louisiana...the bulls eye of where the storm is predicted to hit...im not sure why anyone would want a storm to hit...maybe because they're so pathetic they dont' want to go to work or school for a week or two? personally i'd do anything to NOT get the storm because i can't afford to miss work...being without electricity for weeks is NEVER fun!
