Why do people want to close the border?

The Mexicans are just moving back to their land. When the whiteman "discovered" America, the Native Americans were already here, and the Mexicans too. The Mexicans had little towns and ports, living in peace with the Indians all the way up to Oregon, then the Texas Revolution ended up bringing Texas into the U.S, and James K. Polk led an unprovoked war against Mexico which ceded the whole southwest of the United States, California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico...Our whole nation violates the 7th commandment. (going Roman Catholic commandments here. For us, Thou Shalt Not Steal is #7)

  1. You must have gotten your history out of the comic books in Mexico.  Try reading almost any author from Mexico or the Untied States and you will discover you provided us a very silly story.

We want to close the border because it is American Law.  We really did not press that issue until the illegal aliens became so very violent.

    --------------------------------------

    • In 2004, four L. A. hospitals went bankrupt and closed their doors because they were forced by law to accept non-paying illegal aliens as patients, but nonpaying U. S. Citizens could be denied treatment [16].

The video, “Aztlan Rising” [17], gives a pretty good picture of what’s going on. It provides these details and confirms other statistics in this article [18]:

    • Our country is experiencing a 42% increase in birth rate due to illegal aliens having their children here (CIS, 2005).

    • 31% of Mexican housewives are on welfare, costing us nearly $70 billion in social services for them. And over 42% of all Mexicans here—nearly half—are on assistance paid for by Americans.

    • 44% illegals from ages 0-16 have no basic English proficiency skills (U.S. Department of Education; December 2005).

    • 92% of the cocaine in our country come from Mexico, and 65% of meth and marijuana are brought into our country the same way.

    • Illegal aliens make up about 3% of our population and yet over 30% of them comprise our prison population.

    • Free medical care to the illegals closed 60-plus hospitals in California alone since 1993, and more are closing as this very article is being written.

    • Illegal children have created a 93% rise in public school population, and cost public schools annually nearly $30 billion (Bureau of Statistics, 2002).

    • Through sympathetic Americans and illegal fraud and forgery, alien criminals come to this country where, in 2005, alone, they committed 1,800-2,500 murders (Mac Johnson, Human Events 2005). For example, Jose Sosa, age 16, brutally stabbed to death a Nashville woman and her daughter in April 2006, and Sosa now sits in a juvenile detention center. Reports state that he had been caught coming into the States illegal, then was detained and fingerprinted, and later deported. He re-entered un-obstructed later (http://www.wsmv.com/Global/story.asp?S=4...

    • Three feet from the Mexican-American border is the town of Colonia Libertad, which is the most violent place in all of Mexico.

    • Al Qaeda leaders have met with Hispanic gangs to plan terrorist attacks against the U.S (Washington Times, 09-28-04).

    • Mexican military units have crossed into America 216 times since 1996 (Washington Times; 01-17-06).

    • If permitted, and if they had the means, over half of all of Mexico’s population—50 million—would move to the U.S. (PEW, August 2005).

    • $60 billion are earned by illegal aliens each year, of which nearly $14 billion or more are sent back to Mexico yearly (Sept. 25, 2002 NPR report).

    • Only 36% of Mexicans view Americans favorably; 73% say Americans are racists; only 16% say Americans are honest (Zogby poll, 03-2000).

    ==================================

On and on, and on, and on... you have to read it to understand it.  It is a gonna stop too.  And, by the way, the Mexicans never willingly lived here.. even in Texas or Mexico.  Further, the Mexican Indians never came north of the desert that includes almost all of the border area from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean.  Los Angles, in the old days, was a dank, foul smelling swamp with oil on the surface of the ground, and hydrocarbons floating in the ponds.  It flooded in winter.. it baked in summer.  It was ugly and the Mexicans, on one occasion, chose to die rather than come to Los Angles.

  2. Only Mexicans think this was or is their land or this land was stolen, the rest of us went ot school and know that's about as far from the truth as you can get.

If your looking for some excuse to break immigration laws and p**s on other nations, your going to have to try harder Mr. Brown.

    it's 2008, please join us.

  3. No the Native Americans were here! Mexicans sold what they stole off the Native Americans!! you better look at the illegal mexicans about breaking the 10 commandments before you even start preaching to any one else!!

  4. ted is awsome awsner!!!! i totaly agree but you know what? what would we do without them? our lawns would be unkept our schools wouldnt be so horrible and all our houses would be dirty cuz no one would clean our houses ! hahahaha but ya totaly good awnser ted

  5. Your one cracked our Mexican, aren't you.

Mr Blond is very brown, and delusional.

I think you need a real history lesson, not the false Mexican version.

d**n petty Mexicans playing the "who was here first" bull just so they can break laws, how lame. Looking for any reason to break a law, how nice.

  6. First of all, the Mexican American war occurred over 150 years ago. I agree it was wrong for Americans of European descent to seize the southwest from Mexico and the whole country from Native Americans. But no American today is responsible for those injustices, so stop your politically correct and pandering garbage!

  7. Congrats on winning the stupidest question of the day award.

  8. Mexico has way stricter immigration laws compared to the United States:
