If you're jaded about this concept, there are two things you can do-

1. Find people.

2. Keep your mouth shut.

Lots of people resent this, and I'll tell you why. Humans are pack animals by nature. We function in packs, we travel in packs, and we eat in packs. To not be in a pack can work- one can survive, but is not optimal. Falling in love is a wonderful experience, and a lot of people consider it much more than a waste of time.

It's better to have loved than to not love at all. We only don't want to love when we have been hurt, which usually comes in time. We all are casualty's of love, unless we are so full of fear and run from life. Or a uncompassionate person which normally comes from being hurt also.

Falling in love is not a wastage of life - you are mistaken. If at all you fall in love then you'll come to know whether you are wasting your life or not.

this is passimistic idea.if you get male/ female of your liking. you understand him/her fully well and vice versa then life is heaven. one plus one becomes eleven. you share your joys more because it is multiplied and when you share your sorrows they are reduced to bare minimum.

In fact, they rarely do: They usually waste their lifes on falling in lust, but since people like euphemisms they call it falling in love.

Another related phenomenon is "making love", which should correctly be called intercourse.

So.. why do people waste their life on falling in lust and having intercourse? Because, like all other animals, the human animal must procreate. That is the one unbreakable law of nature.

Life is a waste if one has not had the sublime experience of falling in love, but I do agree that one must soon recover so as to ensure that life remains useful and well directed...... continuing to be love-struck for ever would indeed be a waste of life.... life is much more than love!!
