Why do people wear their watch on their non-dominant hand?

Why do people wear their watch on their non-dominant hand?

It gets in the way and winding or adjusting it is easier with the dominant hand.  

I am ambidextrous, so mine is in my pocket.

I am right-handed. I wear my watch on the inside of the left wrist because it's less likely to be bumped and damaged.

Because they use their dominant hand to wind it and/or operate its buttons

cause it's a pain in the butt when you're writing or doing something that uses your dominant hand to look at your watch while you're doing whatever your doing... i know that doesnt probably make sense, but whatever...

Yea, it's like the 2 hair dressers in a village and the one with the worse haircut is the one you should go to. It would be hard to use your bad hand to put your watch on.
