Why do people wear wolf & moon sweatshirts?

So I just realized that tons of people wear these shirts and I was kind of wondering why. do they think they are werewolves or something? Maybe they feel the call of the wild but rarely leave their basement and sit on the internet all the time? I guess actually they are kind of neat but a little uncouth. Thanks.

Why do people with little mythological study get tattoos of eagles and panthers and other wild creatures on themselves? It should be obvious that only wannabe eagles get those kind of tattoos (when was the last time you saw an eagle showing off a tattoo of itself in a wildlife video) but even wannabe wild people have to start somewhere. No, a sweatshirt isn't going to bring you close to nature, or give off a big beacon to all the real 'wolves' out there, but at least its a start.

I wear those shirts but I just like wolves.

I just like wolves :) and the moon relaxes me, but I don't have any shirts with the moon on them
