Why do people where there watch on the left arm?

People that wear their watch on their left wrist are usually right-handed people & vice-versa.

Right handed people wear their watch on their left arm so it doens't get in the way when they are writing/doing other tasks.  For left handed people, it is opposite.

Well, if you're right-handed it's much easier to use that hand to put the watch on.  Therefore, the watch will be donned on the left wrist.  Also, it may get in the way...like everyone else said.

most people are right handed, so if they are doing something its easier to look at their free hand.

They WEAR THEIR watch on the left arm, because they are right handed.

Meaning they can do something else with their right hand while pulling the left hand up to see the time.

And just not wanting the watch to bother them when they're writing. I believe this habit formed since the time the person is a student when they're doing plenty of writing.
