It makes no sense. As ghandi said, be the change you want to see in the world. But these people dont work for the change, they just expect it.

  1. This world is full of people who love to complain, and lazy people. In some cases they are the same people. Voting would require them to register and that requires work! Complaining has no paper involved. That is why people whine.

  2. If the people you are talking about were to vote then they would have to accept responsibility for the system when it does not work.  God forbid they act or have responsibility for anything................................... course by not voting they are responsibile for the system being this fouled up in the first place!

  3. I don't know. People who don't vote are the ones making the problem. If you don't vote you have no business complaining.

  4. A lot of people have become complacent. I always felt that if you don't vote then you have no right to complain.

  5. People also complain about U.N. not working. Were people to participate more in The U.N. make it strong then in certain ways it can work their will. Like Iraq. Citizens could join get it to stop Iraq move to stop global warning  which is connected to wealth issues human attitudes of entitlement. Change will not come from voting alone when changes not occuring then up to citizens to make them. To support country instead join U.N. not U.S. Army. Strong U.N. ensure rights for all is purpose.

  6. Pure apathy.  They either believe their vote would not make a difference, they don't like the candidates, etc., etc., etc.  It's truly a shame that they feel this way.  I always tell my non-voting friends, if you don't vote, don't complain. They don't listen.

We ought to be proud to live in a country that allows us to vote.  It is truly a shame that so, so many don't take advantage of this right.  I have voted in pretty much every election possible since I became eligible at 18.  And now, 32 years later, I am even more involved and dedicated to voting so that I can at least try to make a difference.

  7. Because they either don't like any of the candidates on either Dem or Rep side (and they're the only ones who ever win =/ ), or because it doesn't really matter (like in the 2000 election when Gore won the popular vote, but Bush still won).

  8. any one who does not vote, cannot complain
