That right there makes no sense... today I saw a truck transporting bottled water and I thought, hmmm here's a truck, burning gas/oil clogging up the road driving to make delivery of a product that's free and safe to drink even in a 7/11's public restroom sink.

  1. Because its not a big deal.  If you really want to help send some $ and replace all your lights in your house. Sped some $ and make a real difference......or be cheap and think your helping but stop whining about stupid little stuff like bags and water bottles

  2. Well, I know that in my area (Wilmington, De), the tap water may not be safe to drink.  Back before there were restrictions on it, local companies dumped alot of chemicals into the water supply. The water has an awful chemical aftertaste, and we're tried nearly every filter on the market and nothing has helped. There is research out about how many chemicals are in our water, and the opinion of the local government is "We don't know that it will kill you, so we'll assume that it is safe".  So we drink bottled water. I hate doing it, but I'd also hate to get cancer from my tap water.

  3. its because they don't trust the tap water, which is polluted with all kinds of medications to make the population babbling idiots

  4. Come to my town and try to drink our water... you won't be able to get to the store and buy bottled water fast enough.

  5. because they haven't found these yet.

  6. The bigger question to ask is why do we focus so much on recycling cans when we as a culture use so much more plastic and plastic is forever?
