Why do people who have kids sometimes think they are better than people who dont?

If anything, they are just showing off or jealous of those who don't have the expense and responsibility of raising a kid.

MAybe because in a way they are. Raising kids is a very hard task, and those who attempt it are at least braver than those who don't.

BTW, it's not about being better, it's just that your life, your priorities and your interests change so much after you have kids that it's hard to keep your friendship on the same level if your friends don't have kids. You just join a different league, and there's no way back.

I think a lot of these answers are hilarious; like all these people had kids on purpose!  I tend to agree that they are jealous that you can still spend $200 on a pair of shoes, or decide to take a road trip to the beach, and throw everything in the car and go.  A 14 year old prostitute can have a baby.  It takes more self discipline and control NOT to have kids.

Because there's nothing in the world more important then raising them!
