Why do people who pay $4.oo/gal for water complain about paying $3.00/gal gas?

Because people know they have the choice of drinking $4.00/gallon water versus drinking water right out of the tap.  On the other hand, they don't have the choice of $3.00/gallon gasoline versus $2.50/gallon gasoline.  Removing that element of choice gives people a reason to complain about the high cost of gas.

Lets look at what happens, the news states that a tanker is leaking in the Gulf. A storm is in the Gulf and maybe will be around a drilling site, or crude oil is going to be at an all time high today. Or, as what happened here in the Dayton Ohio area our news station stated that our gas prices were below the national average. OH, YOU GUESSED IT THEY WERE NOT THE FOLLOWING DAY!!! SO,all I can say on the topic of high gas prices. WE DESERVE IT! AFTER ALL LOOK AT WHAT WE DO NOTHING AT ALL EXCEPT COMPLAIN. Who knows maybe the news or media will say something like these high gas prices are distroying the USA. I suppose that would never happen due to the news never speaks the truth do they?

Your paying $4.00 a gallon, for water? Boy, they saw you coming! Does it have gold dust in it or something? I live in Ohio and our milk isn't that high here! Now diesel here is $4.14 /gallon, crasy.

cuz it all adds up man , we can't get to work or other places on water , we need gas and  alot of it , and  we spend more in gas then we ever would on water
