  1. i think its to keep them cool or not sweat im not to sure

  2. If you wrap your body in plastic wrap while you work out, you'll sweat more.  It gives some people a false sense of immediate weight loss.  You do lose water weight, but, you'll gain it back when you drink fluids, and it doesn't help loose the fat at all.

And, it can be dangerous.  Your body can't release the heat if it's wrapped in plastic, and you may even end up with heat stroke.

  3. Most people work out to lose weight. Our bodies are composed of a lot of water and losing water retention is one way to lose the weight.  Cellophane is a non-porous material, not allowing moisture in or out, but is isn't very practical.  Note boxers when they are doing road-work:  they wear sweat suits, not skimpy shorts and tops.  This causes two things to happen: increases the perspiration output by absorbing it into the material; allows the air to evaporate the water, creating a cooling effect.  One danger of using cellophane is that evaporation does not occur and could lead to dehydration very quickly.
