  1. The fluid from your eyes drains through the corner of you eye (closest to your nose) into your nose, so when you cry, there's a lot more fluid going through this duct into your nose, causing your nose to be "runny".


  2. Simple anatomy.  Excess tears flow through your tear ducts into your nose.
