Why do pepole don't know about Sea monkeys?

I was never really sure. I bought a few of those sea-monkey set up kits for my kids, and they seemed to like them. I don't know why they are so "uncommon." I think it's because they are part of the lower chain, and very small, so people are less likely to study them.

These were a fad YEARS ago.  Kind of stupid.  Aren't they just some kind of brine shrimp.  Basically they are fish food.

Very tiny, nearly transparent.  Look like  bits of dust flitting about in a bowl of water.  fun. wow.
