  1. The face is more prone to pimples because it is exposed to more dirt and bacteria collecting on the skin.  Plus we tend to touch our faces with our hands, frequently, and without paying much mind to that fact.  Anything floating through the air- pollution, dust, whatever, lands on your face.  That is the basic prescription for pimples on the face.  Those on the back are usually from bacterial and dead skin buildup because it's so darned hard to scrub your back yourself.  If you live in an area where the air is visible, then you would do well to wash your face more frequently, or at least wipe it down with witch hazel to remove some of the gunk.  The witch hazel has the advantage of being an astringent, rough on bacteria but very gentle on skin.  The other helpful thing is to keep your hands off your face, unless you just washed them.  You also should not pick, poke, prod or squeeze pimples either.  For the back, a back brush or rough scrub will help matters there by simply making it possible to do a better wash up job. You can get pimples anywhere you have skin, though- just so you know.  It's just more common to see on the face and back.

  2. I'd say you would get pimples wherever you have oily skin . So if your back gets sweaty then you are likely to get clogged pores.

  3. hey pimples may sometimes appear coz of some hormone changes. The best way to find out is that if you have dandruff then it might be coz of hormone changes.Pimples even appear on back of your shoulder coz of this.

the best way to avoid is to wash your face 5 times a day with cold water.

    hope this might be useful

  4. Acne is a chronic inflammatory condition of the skin, usually related to hormonal changes and overactive sebaceous ( oil ) glands during adolescence. Some acne is due to heredity, but can be aggravated by emotional stress.

Acne is not caused by any food, drink, or personal habit.

You have break-outs on your face and shoulders because you have more oil glands there. Acne has nothing to do with " dirt " on your face.

If you haven't already, you should start using a good cleanser and oil-free moisturizer and spot treatment at night. Proactive is great, or anything that has benzoyl peroxide as the main ingredient.
