Why do poeple find new freindfs in train journeys?

Because you can walk form car to car on a train and not look stupid doing it as you would on an airplane On a train someone always looks at you and you back and the door to a conversation is open.  

And they will say want to go and get a drink in the car back there?

So you see sitting and watching all the trees and houses pass by the window is a lot nicer than watching a big white cloud or all the starts in the sky pass by.

You can not do this on an airplane all the seats are numbered and people do not walk around airplanes in flight all that much

Only if you have one that has a lounge on it

People can find new friends anywhere! Although for some, finding friends is quite difficult.

On a train, you feel like a person. On a plane, you feel like cattle. People on trains seem to be less stressed out -- they didn't have to go through an intense security and check in procedure, they didn't have to be at the station two hours before departure, etc.
