Is this just a English difference, like here in New Zealand "news" is what is new not about broadcasting political messages, CNN and FOX just seem to push their political slant, I am wrong?

Also does the FOX "terror alert" relax you? Whats that all about?

  1. I don't watch FOX news (Faux news more like), so I have no idea what their alerts are.  The Republicans put alerts up because they want us to live like scared little bunnies.  I refuse to live like that.  They claim to have no slant, but they are agents of the Republican regime, and quite obvious about it.

  2. Media is illusion look who owns what and understand why they lie and deceive education and religion are mind control to stop people being able to think

  3. Probably, but if they are reporting about politics it is still seen as news. That's the downfall.

  4. Those broadcasters call themselves news channels because they appeal to the lowest common denominator.

What they in that country consider news is fluff to the serious minded man or woman who is actually looking for valid information concerning current events.

The majority of the Americans who do watch the news are not interested in working their brains to understand what really is going on. It scares them. The truth is often painful and until it actually hits them personally ... then they don't give a d**n. For the most part? The attitude is "entertain me". So the Barbie & Ken anchors do their best with what they have as something that would be considered newsworthy, and entertaining.

As for their political stripes? Who the h**l knows?

  5. lol I hear you. All i have to say is their "news" is c**p, unless its a national disaster.

  6. There is plenty of news on CNN and Fox, but this year the news channels have discovered that politics sells. The campaign has created a lot of interest in America, so the word has gone out to emphasize that in their typical day's coverage. The Democratic primary helped that perception, because it wasn't decided for so long -- usually it's settled in February, but this time it was June.

Meanwhile, the government has an official designation of a terror alert, and Fox just aires it more than anyone else. CNN sticks it in a crawl every so often.
