Why do pools get warmer at night rather than day?

  1. they don't, it just feels that way ciause the air is cooler!   the sun heats the water, not the moon!


  2. It just seems that way.  The pool warms up during the day, but doesn't catch up with the air.  So, if the pool hits 70, and the air is 80, the pool seems cold.  At night, if the pool hits 60 and the air is 60, then the pool seems relatively warm.
