  4. Thats just people telling you what you need to hear and being brutally honest.  Thats their way of saying forgive me for what I'm about to say, but this is what I honestly think.  That help?  :)

  6. They know what they're about to say or have said can be offensive, but they want to make it clear that it is not their intention.

  9. Because they want to get their point across, but want the person to know that they was not intentionally trying to be hurtful. If you do not say 'no offence', then it may look like you are deliberately being spiteful.

  10. they are trying to be honest with you but they dont mean for you to get offended.the truth isnt always nice and pretty.

    like: " hey i dont mean to be offensive or anything. but you need a tic tac.lol. just trying to help you out."
