Why do ppl in the Third World keep having all these children?

Question

They keep asking us 4 money to feed the starving children. OK, that's cool, I don't mind and I even give now and then.

But wouldn't it be betr if they didn't have all those children in the first place?

I'm living in the Philippines and it's a third world country. you see, most people here has the orientation of the investment attitude. if they have more children, that means they have more laborers, and so when all this children grow up, and each one land on a job, no matter how cheap it is, they think that if you combine all their salaries, they would come up with an amount that could give them an affluent life. ^_^

we cant stop them from wanting a family, if all the rich people in the world just wasnt such pigs and gave abit more to the neeedy instead of buying another fancy car to their collection, maybe poverty wouldnt be such a problem

they struggle financially but they still have a heart to give...

You know a full answer would be many pages, but to be brief and to talk about major issues: first of all I agree with buddy that said they don't have TV. I mean they are not aware of the results of their actions. They are not well-trained and well-informed to keep their number of children low! so they are poor in knowledge. Second, many of them, needs this children. they must work so hard to live and they need children to help them burden this immense task of survival in Third Cruel World.

Third, It relies on their traditions and customs, I know it sounds weird to do something by tradition of our ancestor but you know all humans follow some habits by this or that way.

And I think to finish their problems rather than giving them money or food, we can give them education and knowledge...

whoa! this is a complex issue. There are many third world countries and all have different issues that are keeping them that way. Look at Africa...they have huge debt, political injustice and most people there lack any agricultural or horticulture skills to enable them to feed themselves and create a community. Everyone has a right to be here and live, love, have children. Who do you think you are ? What gives you the right to decide what cultures live and which do not? Your arrogance is %%$@!
