Why do ppl keep buying the crappy salt systems for their pools ?

well here is an idea. THEY ARE CHEAP!!!! no body really wants to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on a salt system for their pool.

Maybe so that the swimming pool seems like the sea, since the sea has salt. Also you can see better in the pool and your clothes and skin don't smell bad or anything. People say it's better than chlorine.

Probably because they work well and their owners take care of their systems and those that "brake" are owned by people that don't inspect their cells, mess up their water chemistry or generally abuse the unit or buy a "cheap" model that's known to have circuit board issues but hey...the price was right?

Maybe those people that had them malfunction simply had bad karma?
