Why do ppl say that the patriots cheat?

i think that ppl get mad becuz the pats come and beat their fav team and they dont like that. plz ppl opinions.

people are jealous....a lot of teams do what the pats did but Manimafaggini had to be a snitch. The patriots beat every team they played last year at least once and kicked *** the year before too. ppl just use that as an excuse to cushion their teams suckiness. and the pennsylvanian senator (i think) who opened up this huge case should have the word DOUCHEBAG written across his forehead.

It wasn't really cheating, because if they were taping in the first row of the stands and up, it would have been perfectly legal. If theywere on the sidelines and watching with anything but a video camera, it would have been perfectly legal.

ESPN and Arlen Specter just blew it way out of proportion.

     Well the real truth was there was controversy over the patriot's coach. When they played the Jets they accused the Patriots of controlling the NFL cameras and pointing them at the Jet's coach. Then they could lip read the coach and use that to win the game. My opinion, however was the Jet's were simply mad at the Patriots for being beaten so badly.

I am not sure, but I heard the Patriots had mouth readers with binoculars to read other teams plays.  I thought that was allowed although I think its wrong, because coaches put something over their mouth when they talk.  But the yr the Patriots won they were caught, and punished.
