many ppl i ask say he got KO'd by a 40 yr old cruiserweight Carl Thomson well this was his 11th profesional fight and he was challenging for a major world title, he was actually winning the fight and gassed out. Basically he lost the fight cuz he wasnt fit enuf and wasnt well polished, now take a look at his last fight at cruiserweght n see the difference. pac man got KO'd early in his career n look @ him now. So let us base our descisions on how he does against the top ten ranked hw he's going to fight this november. What are your thoughts

  1. Too soon to tell, I want to see him fight someone more on his current level, like Chris Arreola, that would be a good fight for both of them at this time.  Arreola is about 2 fights away from a title shot, so if Haye wins, then he gets his title shot legitimately, honestly right now as far as Haye vs. Wlad goes, I wouldn't give Haye much of a chance, Wlad is huge compared to anyone Haye has faced so far and he knows how to use his jab.  Plus Haye's stamina is still suspect to me.

All that said I would like to see Haye do well because he could bring some excitement to this division.  I feel the same way about Arreola though.

  2. as you will find out as soon as the 1st big shot lands you will see why...

he beat nobody of great fighting skills. did you see the how they made the enzo fight trying to say its the biggest in 20 years..

lol enzo is well how can you say its the biggest fight in 20 years with him in it. sorry but foolish he is not worth a **** but did last longer that i thouht 30 sec....

no david is good but you never would be saying this you would of been lock up.. he got better but not much its like every one hopes he will do it as they are diein for a new hero sorry it wont be him

  3. this video shows one reason: http://www.liverpuncher.com/boxing-video...

david haye is quick and strong, there are more boxing videos of david haye on liverpuncher.com

  4. No chance,too small,too weak,someone will break his beak

  5. He's always had a good reach at 6' 3" but in Heavy's he will be fighting guys over 6' 5" and 250 pounders. He has the speed but the jury is still out on his chin as these guys hit a lot harder. I personally hope he dominates as the division needs a charasmatic champ.

Only time will tell. He stands a better than fair chance.

  6. lets see how he does as a heavyweight then talk about david haye

  7. Let him fight at Heavy, at least to jazz up the division for a while. Untill he beats a legit Heavy contender (if there are any)

    I'm not sold yet.

  8. I like what I see in the handspeed department.  But I'm not at all impressed with defense and movement.  He's like a kid swinging at a Pinata, not paying much attention as to where he is.  IF, and that's a big if, he can show good movement and punch from angles, I think he can have a lot of success.  If he attacks big Klits the way he attacked Macaronilli, he's going to take a nap.

But most of all, how about him actually fighting a heavyweight someone has heard of.  He has just one fight above 200 lbs.  Less talk, more fight.

Watch Davey lead with his head.  Bad idea http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43l2PM8ky...

  9. I seen his last fight as a CruiserWeight and WoW he took this guy out. Now as for him as a HeavyWeight I think he is definatly a Top Contender and then eventually World Champion.

  10. if david haye become a world hw champion i will be the first in here who will applaud him and give him huge respect and credit!but i am curious to see what kind of excuses this time the african american and american in general fans will make who claim that david haye will destroy all the bums from eastern europe in hw if haye loses by knockout!

  11. the HW division is a mess right now, nothin good has happened since the lennox lewis and mike tyson feud days, the old rumble in the jungle matches etc.... HW division used to be a big big thing a money maker over shadowing the rest of the weights, no one even heard of welterweight or even cared, but i think with david haye in this weight he can pick up where lewis left off, and become a force to be reckoned with, klitscho brothers are already finished they are both over rated and david haye will dismantle them, HW division is in dire need of a star and i think david haye will be the man to cause a few big upsets, stick him in with that valuev or peters first.

  12. I think haye can definitly demonate at HW. But he needs to take his time and not rush in to the big name bouts. he needs to make the switch fighting some lower level fighters then move to the big payday fights. i think he can beat the klitcsko brothers. these guys or heavy hitters and if his chin is weak it will be checked.
