Why do pre-teens and teens think its ok to have s*x?

Well like when i look around here. there are always questions like "I got pregnate by my bf?" I think its stupid how pre-teen and teen girls think it alright to have s*x b4 marriage and once they get pregnant then they freak out. I dont believe in s*x b4 marriage and i'm not religious...like there are tese to girls i meet this year in 7th grade one lost her virginity to some guy in our school and one had s*x w/ this guy i know. Its kinda creepy to know that even kids my age are having s*x i mean allot of us are turning13 (like me) and well its kinda creepy. but i'm just saying what do you think about it?

It kinda bugs me when i know someone who i care about and she had s*x. like last year (when i was in 6th grade) there ws this one 8th grader who had s*x w/ some high school guy. And got pregnant.

I do not know. I can not understand what is so good about it. Personally, i would be ashamed to say that i lost my virginity at 12 or 13 years of age ( that seems to be the common age these days ) and i certainly would not brag about it. I think a lot of young girls actually want to get pregnant. They see it as a solution to all their teenage problems and think that by having a baby, their life will be perfect. I can understand them wanting to be a mum and think that, that is perfectly acceptable but turning that fantasy into reality is not. I am ashamed to say that i know my 15 year old little sister has been sexually active since a very young age. At 14 years old she was sleeping with 19 year old men that she had only met once. She never was able to tell me why se was doing it. She insisted that it had nothing to do with peer pressure.

I dont understand it all but it seems to me that s*x is being discovered at younger and younger ages. And because they like the feeling of it, they tell thier friends and they continue to do it and its passed down to other kids even younger than them. I heard about some 9 year old girl giving oral in some hick town in the midwest and getting pregnant when she was 10, shows you how bad its gotten

I think you are free to do it whenever your ready. only you and your body can know when you are ready. however, i do think that it is absolutly outragous that kids in 6th and 7th grade are sexually active. they're just doing it for god knows what reasons. but if your in a relationship with somebody you love and care about and you think that its the right decision than discuss it with your partner. think about it... getting married doesnt flip a switch in your body saying that you're bodys ready..

Well. I'm 14 and well lost it at this age. Yeah yeah, bring on the rudness but quite frankly there are just different types of situations. Some are yes, mistaking s*x for love and they just get used. The other is doing it without knowing consequences. SOME teens are just stupid, but all are curious. Me, i'm not saying i know it all. but I'm pretty smart for my age, a lot of people i know have lost it the wrong way. Me, I've been with my boyfriend for 2 years, used a condom, discussed it before anything. My boyfriend is 2 years older than me as well. Sometmes it depends, theres a wrong way and theres a smart way. The ones you've seen is the wrong way, they all just wanna get to it, get used, and whatnot. I don't believe in the religious wait for s*x until marriage either, because I believe you can't stop a strong bond sometimes, and it will lead to something more. But s*x isn't suppose to be stressfull honey, unless it's done the wrong way and you get pregnant ^_^ Haha, how COULD s*x be stressfull ? it's a feel good thing. Unlike, like i said, it's done the wrong way and for wrong reasons. But thats my view. Hope somehow this helps =)

a lot of girls don't have respect for themselves so they feel that if they have s*x they will get attention it could be that they are trying to fit in or finding love some place else the reasons why people have s*x at such a younge age peer pressure socioty

I believe in s*x after marriage but sometimes ppl can get carried away. but in your teen years, especially pre-teen at that..i think you should not. a lot of teens  who have s*x dont even end up marrying the person they lost their virginity to and some teens don't even know what true love is.trust, im 18. yea we have raging hormones but my morale and will power are WAY stronger than that. well keep your intellingent mindset. NO s*x TILL MARRIAGE lol. gimme a thumbs down if you want but i'd rather lose my virginity to someone i love and have committed the rest of my life to than  somone who won't even be in my life in a matter of years.

Well, some teens mistake s*x for love. For example I recall so many girls I went to school with who had s*x with their bf's because they thought he "loved" them, only to end up getting used.

Other teens do it just for the sake of doing it, with no thought whatsoever to the consequences.

Because they're s***s.  Teen girls are morons today with no respect for their own bodies or minds (not that they have any, because they're too drunk and high anyway.)  Paris Hilton and Miley Cyrus are the kind of celebs that encourage bad behavior.  Girls look up to the wrong people today, and no one is stopping them from being little whores.  s*x should be for girls 18 years and older.  Plus, who cares if it's before marriage.  Who waits anyway?

its not a big deal really, and i dont get why people are trying so hard to stop teens from doing it.

im 14 and i lost my virginity earlier this year, i told my friends, and they didnt judge me or anything.

like, if you have s*x and its with your boyfriend then its alright, as long as you know them well enough to know that he's not a totaly jerk or anything.

as long as your safe, its just something fun to do that feels pretty d**n good.

well all i can say is my girlfriends (all 3 of them) thankfully believe in s*x here and know.... i would dump them other wise... and who cares if they get pregnant that's happened 2 times and all you got to do is go get them an abortion!  And for all you religious nut jobs out there I now its a baby I just would rather kill it than let the girls dad or brother fined out! cuz the ones that have found out tried to kill me!

well i knew a lot of girl back in my middle school that had s*x when they were in 6 grade, i though it was wrong they were way to young, but you can't spot people from having s*x. Now getting pregnant is a different story, you can have s*x and use protection and you would be fine. Also most people had s*x during there teens years, when you get in high school you will see how many people have s*x.

Its not a double standard between adults having s*x and teens they do it because they want to. Besides with what's in our foods today kids are developing faster  and growing up quicker. So for the same reasons adults on shows like "s*x in the city" have s*x, teens have s*x too.  If adults think its okay to have s*x before marriage who else are the kids going to follow........

I'm 13 and I don't think ANY premarital s*x is okay.  I want a purity ring to show other kids at my school what I think about it, and to keep myself reminded what I promised God, my parents, and myself.  There is a girl who was my friend last year and she was 14, and got pregnant.  It was tough for me because I had to help her with this, and she said that since she was a Christian she wouldn't have s*x, but she didn't keep her promise.  It hurt her when she had to pay the price of her mistake and it hurt me when I had to accept that she lied to me.  She does have a beautiful little baby girl that is a couple of weeks old, named Liz.  I just don't think it's okay for teens my age to have s*x and babies, because they don't usually think ahead to what might happen as a consequence.
