  1. The need to know what nature has to offer besides just picking other peoples flowers to bring home to mom.  Instead they need to know why flowers are vital for bees, humming birds and the like.

Need to know why trees are planted besides just picking up the leaves in the fall (color change) for a project at preschool.  Trees are also there to clean the air we breath, to provide shade in the summer, a place for birds to nest and with out trees our air won't stay clean and the ground will be parched and try.

Respect, love and beauty helps mother nature do her job.

Nature plays an important part for "all creatures great and small" all over the world.  It's up to us to protect them and provide the needed resources to continue the balance of nature and all creatures.

  2. to explore the world!  that is the most fascinating hands on learning there is when you are their age.  that is life, that is nature, forever changing.  They say if you want to know God, follow nature.

  3. Like everything around us it is important to learn about what is around us. If you live in a city you do not get exposed to these wonders. The whole world is not a city at least not yet we should embrace our natural resources.

  4. All the things above are true, but there's some interesting research that says that children who are out in nature every day or so are easier to deal with because their stress levels are lower. Generally, preschoolers are safer exploring in natural settings than unnatural ones so they can move more freely and run or swing around and fall down without hurting themselves or disturbing objects.
