That whining baby they call Ryan makes tons of money and could pay his own way into tournaments so why the h**l does he need a sponsor? Why don't those sponsors support some kid who may not have a chance at going pro? It seems rather selfish to me and just another bit of proof the the Big B don't give a **** about you or me..

  1. his sponsors are only in it for their commercial benefit

  2. I agree. And I don't know what else to say, right on, you are right. Good luck on getting sponsored by plan b now.

  3. thats how they make money

    if they can't win events

  4. yea, for the money, and if the skater is really good the sponser makes products of the skater so the fans can buy.

  5. the reason he makes tons of money is because of his sponsors...

  6. if he didn't have sponsors then he wud be broke

pros need sponsors be they skate for that team, get in their videos, get MONEY MONEY MONEY and how else do they get known?

  7. Ryan Sheckler  turned pro five years ago and still enjoys a sponsor because the sponsor uses his endorsement to sell their products AND Ryan is a figure of admiration for fans who buy the kind of products Etnies sells. The sponsor could support some kid who might not have a chance at going pro - but that wouldn't sell skateboard shoes and clothing. Ryan does it for money...and that is what differentiates a Pro from an amateur - not skill, attitude, need or popularity.

  8. Pro skaters wouldn't even have money if it was for sponsors thats why.  When a pro gets a sponsor they enter tournaments for them and if some kid see's someone with a Plan B shirt in a contest whose good they'll be like whoa if I buy a plan B i'll be good like him.
