  1. Lots of times when animals go extinct another animal loses them as a food source or as population control, which could lead to other animals going extinct, and so on.  If we're not careful lots of animals could go extinct from one going extinct, especially predators like bears, wolves, sharks and lions.

  2. Because it's part of our ecosystem! BIGgourami's answer is right. I have no time to explain it, some of the answers are right.

And what do you mean they kill for no reason? Animals kill for food! Stop asking silly questions like this.

  3. It is probably best to address your statement that predator animals kill humans or any other animal for no reason at all.   Many times when these creatures kill humans, the humans are in what is their home and the humans are encroaching on the animals' backyards.Arrogant humans appear to believe the woodland creatures and the ocean dwellers should not behave normally in their own homes. Scientific studies show it is mainly humans and some primates who will engage in killing one another and other animals for no sound reason..meaning killing for the sake of killing.

Having said that, predator animals are a very necessary component in the checks and balances system which makes the natural environment function in an orderly way.  For example, in an area, in the western United States, where all the wolves were nearly or completely killed off, other animals which are herbivores as well as rodents and such multiplied to larger numbers than previously.  In their turn these animals were either eating away too much new growth vegetation which caused certain trees growing near water ways to die off.  Far fewer new trees or other necessary plant grew this caused less birds and insects and this affected the number of fish in the water and also lowered the quality of the water and so it always goes when some predator animal or any creature is hunted to extinction or near extinction.  We and they are inextricably connected. Humans are only some of the inhabitants of the earth.  They out -number us. People should learn to live with nature and not attempt to tame it as people used to say.  They should also think of what happens next when humans wantonly kill and/or destroy the earth and our fellow creatures because there is a heavy price to be paid for being the rapists and murderers of the earth instead of its stewards.

Sadly, this probably is not the answer you want.  Many humans are carried away with their notions of superiority.

  4. because they are protectors for life. And like i guess these animals are important for the environment and for like food/meat etc. I guess some of them regulate the populations of their prey. There should be particular resons.

  5. The ONLY thing that kills for NO REASON is MAN. Animals kill for food or to protect themselves or their young. Why do you think animals kill for no reason?

  6. If people would leave the animals alone they wouldn't attack them and it's just their instinct to attack when they feel threatened. Their part of the ecosystem. If those animals go extinct the animals that they eat will overpopulate. The ecosystem will be disrupted if those animals go extinct.

  7. If you want to go around killing every creature that has ever killed man...the planet would be empty of life.  People kill more people than any animal ever has.  You obviously have absolutely NO understanding of what an ecosystem or food chain is...I suggest you go take a biology 101 course or open a book sometime.  ALL the animals you mention are apex predators and are an important part in keeping the ecosystem healthy.  Read more here:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apex_predat...

As far as I am concerned.. the planet has no room for selfish humans who think they are the only creatures on earth that have a right to live.

  8. We went and killed their species by entering their environment and their territory so we have to save them. If they die we die. For example Sharks are very important parts of the ecosystem and if they die many other animals will die because they limit certain predator populations (if those limits are broken then the prey populations will die out consequently causing the deaths of the predator populations).

If we just left their territories alone no one would need to die

"Remember a king can't live without his servants"

    and... animals have feelings too

  9. All these animals kill man in extremely rare cases.  We need these animals more than they need us.

Bears help spread plant seeds through their dung, and clean decaying animals because they are opportunist.  If they go extinct, plants probably would follow, and disease could spread from rotting animals.

Wolves, Sharks and Lions are Alpha predators, they keep populations of their prey in check through natural selection.  without them, their prey population would explode and disease would increase.

You should also know that most people killed by these animals are a case of mistaken identity and/or provoke the animals.  so when you keep your distance and know the precautions your completely safe.

  10. people are all known for killing people without reason? why do we protect them?

so naive... how old are you?

you need to learn ALOT more about ecology and animal's niches in the environment before you're ready to truely understand why..

for now i'll just say... we need them...

not to mention the countless millions of animals we slaughter every years because they kill a few dozen of us

  11. because all these animals play a large roll in life for example:if sharks where extinct the ocean would be filled with dead fish and animals because they eat dead and sick creatures.
