Why do "comments" or "messages" get stuck on my 360 page and is there a secret tip to getting them unstuck?

Very frustrating & annoying problem! Comments get stuck, and nothing u post will help get them unstuck. Also happens frequently with messages. Its not fun to have to make a new page if u have 300 blog entries after 2 years! Invites are even worse. I'm getting invites from people already on my friends list! Also so many invites are unable to accept/deny/ignore! This site is driving me and many others to want to pull hair..and not ours!

  1. No secret tip.

If your Top Page comment module was working fine before and suddenly it's not working, plus you haven't made any setting changes — the problem is likely a 360 glitch. You'll have to wait this out and hope that it's "miraculously" resolved soon. Tell people to comment in your blog or send you a message instead.

I say "miraculously" because the Y!360 team is no longer addressing bug reports, as it prepares to launch a new social-networking system in the second half of 2008. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details. The 360 team blog is also accessible via the "Yahoo! 360 News" link in the upper right corner of your 360 space.

You could be experiencing a glitch that happened at the end of last year and the beginning of this year, where you can only do anything with your comment box (and messages) during certain times of the day. It would be up to you to check throughout the day to see if the box is working correctly at any point in time.

In terms of messages, it is wacky. Delete invites from people that are already on your friends list, of course. If the buttons aren't working on an invitation, delete the invitation and try sending it again. Often Yahoo servers get backlogged and they burp up messages they should have sent to you a long time ago. It's happening now and it will happen again.

There's not much a user can do about it, except leave. This service began in a "beta" (i.e. testing) mode in 2005 and it has not changed from that status. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-4D4zxsg6f... for more information on 360 glitches.
