Question:

Why do reproductive organs of flowers resemble those of animals (e.g. look at and orchid vs. clitoris)?

It almost seems as if this resemblance is evidence for a creator to me. Animals didn't evolve from plants, right? So why the morphological similarities?

    its when two organism have similar characteristics but they dont come from the same ancestor..let state another example...tuna sharks and dolphins...all live under water and have similar body shapes...but they come from totally different ancentry...get the picture..? hoped it helped

    Unfortunately, these structures evolved separately, and I do not even begin to see a basis for the comparison of them; however, I envy you, in that your biology classes must be MUCH more exciting than they were for me.
