Question:

Why do rich people think their upper class dream will last an eternity?

Just why is it rich people spend their time drinking lots of alcohol and purchasing unimportant materialistic junk when they could be reading history (and listening to FDR frankly..."....to keep capitalism one must curb capitalism....or the animals get out of control.....), histroy that in painstaking detail shows the paths that empires follow. Every path is the same: The empire starts with upper class and only lower class, then develops a middle class during the "good years" which is followed by another large gap between the rich and the poor that finally breaks the country. Las Vegas is America's Coloseum (feel free to use this in a political debate; that's a d**n good example). And so is Manhattan. Rich people flock to Manhattan and Vegas to get their jollies. Because nothing else can entertain them anymore. They are bored. Nero was bored and look what he did. Bush is bored and look what he did.

Do richer people not ******* get it?

Shall I explain more? My email is open and the Kook would love to tell you more. I've read some history and will share it with you. No charge.

  2. Please don't lecture me, and especially not in the marriage and divorce section which is for aspiring agony aunts, not history profs manque. In any case, your generalisations about rich people are silly. I know plenty of rich people who don't behave like this, and plenty of poor people who do, with disastrous results since they can't afford it. Spending fuels the economy: it is better for the rich to spend than hoard. Go learn some basic economics.

  3. Happened to me. grew up with everything and every luxury; had it all the way up to about 8 years ago, then wham! Rug got pulled out and although I had a terrible time for a while there, I am now self sufficient and self supporting, nowhere near my former lifestyle but hey, it's all mine and no one cant take it away from me.

EDIT: I was born into money, and had it all my life until 8 years ago, then lost everything gradually. Then when my Mom passed in 2004, I was on my own, no backup no support so had to scramble to survive, and I did after going through h**l. So I know first hand it can happen to anyone no matter how secure they think they are.

  4. I don't know. I use to be friends with someone until I found out that she didn't want to be friends with me anymore cause I didn't live in a house like hers! Stupid ah. Society has become very judge mental!!

  5. All so true but your in the wrong category .
