Why do rich white liberals have compassion for all except for working class poor whites?

I have noticed this. I saw a King of the Hill episode a few weeks ago on this subject oddly enough.

actually, I have noticed this. My friend is a wealthy liberal, and she will defend any poor group, so long as they are not white.

poor whites she will mock mercilessly

i just disagree with your question.   its rare to find rich white ANYONE who will have true compassion for their less fiscally endowed counterparts.   but to imply that conservatives are more compassionate toward poverty than liberals is simply an ignorant point.  to imply that rich white liberals have less compassion for poor whites than for other causes is just as ignorant.  

look, nobody is saying that liberals have been champions of the issue, but they have certainly focused more resources and time on it than conservatives.  half of the problem is that when somebody is born rich, they don't know the difference.  when somebody poor gets rich, they consider it a given, that any person who can't just didn't work hard enough.  this is untrue, as luck and timing and millions of factors go into this.

The fact is, rich people don't understand the working class struggle.  Liberal or Conservative, whatever race, whatever religion...  It's not as easy to get rich as the rich like to think.

Watching a TV series and developing an issue from it,is an effect that is inappropriate for a healthy mental attitude.Might as well picture a line from the tube to your forehead sucking your brains out .
