  1. Because they're a gimmick shoe that don't reinforce proper / healthy running form, and they're known for causing knee and ankle problems as a result, among other things.

  2. They're just not as good on your ankles and legs.... they might feel good now, but the people selling them to you may not always explain the long term effects they'll have on your body.

  3. ughh i hate those springs, most runners like asics, brooks, nike zooms, adidas, and most other shoes without those stupid springs. there is however a asics gel that is combined with a nike shox, but they uncomfortable too.

  4. because they suck!!! They can destroy your legs. I guess if you are not really a serious runner then you would like the,.

  5. it is all opionion,

all runners have a different shoe that they like

i love brooks but my running buddy hates them with a passion

  6. shox completely destroy my ankles and knees so if you have joint problems stay away also they arent as comfortable as other running shoes. If your into running i would suggest a pair of ascics ever since i started wearing them my joint problems went away they are amazing shoes and shox are over priced

  7. Don't think they are c**p ....... just a heavy shoe, I think of these shoes as good for a bigger runner who needs more cushion.  They mostly range in the 13-14 ounces, that is heavy when lighter runners will usually train in a lighter shoe that is 10-12 ounces.  Here is a link to different Nike shoes, actually the Shox Turbo V are only 12.4 ounces ........... I personally like the Zoom Victory !!! http://www.eastbay.com/catalog/modelsumm...
