Why do saudi citizens refer secular laws over the islamic ? saudis only please?

i'm a saudi from jeddah, and i do not believe that most saudi citizens prefer secular laws simply because the islamic laws of shariah are what we believe in...not just because it's a religious obligation, or our governments constitution...but because islamic laws and shariah are logical...and unlike what some people say, it has no time frame...if applied correctly the way it was presented the first time..it will suit any place and any era...even the most modern and advanced....

following islamic laws would actually make more sense, justice and order in life than most secular laws available today....

it's true that not all saudis are content or even approve some of the current saudi laws but that's not because they follow islamic shariah...the contrary, it's because the islamic shariah in some cases were twisted and manipulated to meet other political agendas or simply human greed...unislamic in itself. so you may want to rephrase your question...a true muslim, a decent person and a logical modern mind wouldn't appose islamic laws infavor of the secular ones...

......because the people realized it is more correct or appropriate than following islamic laws or sharia laws. There are many inconsistencies in the sharia laws that is obviously not humane and just......it's a fact. The saudis are educated and open minded now (which most of them studied in the west) and they learn what is good from bad unlike before they just follow what is being enforced, "do this and do that" because you'll be whipped and stoned to death if you question or doubt the laws.......but now, realization came to them that a person should question a law when he thinks its not implemented right anymore......there's a comparison now unlike before they're isolated from other countries and you don't even know what's happening outside this country.....lolz....

I think it is the tactic of the elders here, to isolate its people so as not to learn the truth but now they just can't isolate them because you are not the only ones living in this world......my two cents only.

Because Saudi Arabia is not a Muslim Country.

In Sharia there is not Royal Family ruling over the peasants.

Why do the Saud family live in huge palaces while the people of Saudi live in low quality housing conditions.

Muhammad SAWS did not live in a palace, he lived in an average house.  What makes the Saud family more special that the Messenger of Allah SAWS?  Astagfurallah

Did you know in Saudi Palaces girls walk around in mini skirts for the princes?  Look it up on Youtube, it's a disgrace.   They pretend to follow Islam but in truth they are as secular as Turkey.

How come in Saudi women aren't allowed to drive or receive

a proper education?  Is this what Muhammad SAWS taught? Of course not, astagfurallah.  In his day women rode horses and they received education just as men did.

Finally, why is the Saudi army doing nothing when the Muslims of the world shout for help under oppression.  Why is the Kafir Abdullah building a city in his name? Astagfuralla, why isn't the money going to help the needy who don't even have a meal a day, or shoes on their feet?

Why is Israel allowed to kill Muslims at will?  Muhammad SAWS said the blood of a Muslim is more important than the Kaaba itself.  

Where is our Ummah ya Muslimeen?  Where there is true Shariah law, were men and women are equal as Muhammad SAWS taught, and where there is no hypocrisy amongst the leaders of the Ummah.

No, there is no Shariah law in Saudi, only laws made by the corrupt and Kafir Saud family to make sure they have all the money and make sure there is no uprising against them.

Only in a Caliphate, ruled by a Khalifah can there be true Shariah law.

Ya Muslimeen make a dua to Allah everyday, beg his forgiveness and ask him to reunite this Ummah.

To answer your question secular without a question.Not just me, many modern Muslim would tell you the same thing it is simply backward and barbaric.By the way don't you think that everybody should be given the right to practice what they want and the laws should be neutral to everybody.

They weren't but times change and now there is this thing called freedom of religion where religion is seperated from the government to be fair to all religions and many Muslims don't like the Sharia law.You can still practice your religion with secular laws you don't need to wear hijab its backward and has no purpose except the symbol of backwardness and oppression.Only fanatics prefer Islamic laws so they can force their views on others and when others don't follow their views they get punished.Today infedels have the same right as non-infedels so please get over it
