I heard that people get stung by scorpions.. How did they get stung, and why do scorpions sting?

  1. Two reasons,

    Firstly it is a defence mechanism if they get attacked,

    Secondly it is a way of killing prey to eat, sting them inject them with vemon, they die, they get eaten.

    They probably got stung because they got too close to one and thought they were being clever!
