Why do so few people leave comments on my blog even though I get a lot of hits?

I write a blog called "Things I've Noticed", and people get to it from lots of different Google searches...

But why do so few people take the time to leave comments?

people are:

-busy

lazy

-cannot be bothered

-non - appreciated

-don't know what to say

there are lots of reasons people don't leave comments,although it would be nice for the average blogger to get feedback from lots of different perspectives.
