Question:

Why do so many Brits seem to think that they are a breed apart from Americans, in reference to the Iraq War?

Britain was like, right in there. I have often read comments from Brits that seem to suggest that their country was not Tweedledee to the USA's Tweedledum on Iraq. They both told lies and invaded. I don't get it.

  1. I don't know what you're talking about!

I'm British and i think that a lot of us just think that there's nothing we can do about this kind of stuff, So a h**l of a lot of us don't vote for politics stuff...

So the complainers and old people are probably the majority of the vote here, so, they always get it wrong, they seem to always choose the most power-mad and seemingly dippy leaders, and so does america... We're too busy trying to make money and keep roofs over our heads to care.

I know we should care more.

Americas' election campaigns and stuff are so much more interesting, they bring more people in to vote.

Though, the dramatics of your elections cloud the minds of the 'not so smart' and they vote for the most attractive, the most popular, the most 'american'...

The British comments that you have read are from the complainers, the natural brits here are working all the time. The majority of true Brits here don't have the time or patience to argue over things we can't change.

Don't hate us 'cos we don't hate you!

  2. Tweedledumb - George W Bush

    Tweedledee - Tony Blair

My chances for using this funny as h**l video are getting less and less -- now that Tony is out -- and Georgie soon will be!

  3. The Brits have made it very clear to the higher ups. I like the fact they question everything over there though. I think we are more brainwashed than anybody else out there. B&B were both in this deep. Tweedledeedum's.

  4. ....

  5. I was both in the US and UK during this. I would say to be fair to the Brits they brought London to a standstill in protest but Bliar already had his head shoved up GW's *ss. There was a lot more ignorance on Iraq and confusion in the states where people actually got into arguments swearing blind Saddam had bombed the twin towers.

  6. They think by themselves.

Difference is that americans almost always believe what their govt. and media tell them. They can never imagine that their nation can be on the side of evil.
