Aren't they supposed to use turn signals like the rest of us?

  1. if you're talking about city busses they stop every block so they are a continuous hazard to be mindful of. they are giving you the courtesy of a warning that they could stop at any time.

  2. I think it's to indicate to drivers behind that they're stopping to pick up a passenger (as opposed to using their turn signals that they're turning).

    I dunno though.

  3. Local regulations vary but I would imagine it is for saftey reasons and for example here in Texas buses have to stop at all railroad crossings every time.

  4. Safety reasons, Code 23-BC56A098

  5. because if you live in a very large area with small roads and lots of cars , driveing something that big can be scary, they want people to know that they want you to be cautious around them plus the lives of many children and also they must follow ALL and EVERY single rule or else they will get FIRED
