Why do so many parking lots disallow "back in" parking?

because only a$$holes back in to parking spaces....unless its snowing and you have front wheel drive, or you need to have easier rear access to your trunk to load stuff there is NO reason to back into a spot. It takes longer which inconveniences other drivers, it has a greater risk of you hitting any of the surrounding cars, and you are far more likely to fail to park within the lines properly.
