Why do so many people ask a question multiple times?

It's worse in this section than anywhere else. Do you think that they are looking for a specific answer, or they just do it to push everyone's buttons?

  1. I think it's because they have no real friends, and need to get attention (albeit negative) online.

  2. Probably a bit of both, depending on the individual.  Many have serious personality disorders and/or other kinds of mental illness.

  3. Because they are looking for a serious thoughtful answer but all they are getting are preachy and personal insults as responses.

  4. i think they do it because they want their question to stay at the top of the list. otherwise they'd just extend the time limit. they obviously think that their question is much more important than everyone else's.

  5. It's one of three reasons

    1) They think they are educating people by posing the same question repeatedly.

    2) They believe they will eventually get the proper answer that aligns with their beliefs.

    3) They are bored and do not having anything better or productive to do with their lives.

  6. boredom

  7. You mean the question-

GENTLEMEN: How PLEASANT is it to see women dress this way?

Along with a picture of woman dressed like she's in My Fair Lady? It's funny- he posts that question every single day- then deletes it about 3 hours after.  I don't get it....

  8. my guess would be, either 1: that they haven't received the answer they were looking for or 2: they just want to be butt holes and enjoy annoying everyone else.
