Why do so many people ask on this site "why did my doctor do this or why did he do that"

People ask your doctor when you are in front of him.

example Why did my doctor saw off my leg. he said I had cancer.

please ask him why he sawed you leg off

Prior to working in the profession that I do now, I was a nurse. I can honestly tell you, that people are intimidated by their doctor. Some of them assume that they can't question them. Others simply don't understand what the doctor is saying (some doctors talk over their heads). Maybe there is a language problem. Sometime, after leaving the office, you might have a question that you forgot to ask, or you just thought of it. Doctors, as a whole, don't spend much time on each patient, so it takes a while for the info to sink in. On occasion, I have left the doctors office and said, "what does that mean" - and I have a Masters Degree in Nursing. So, to answer your question, some people just don't know, may be confused, or they might need reassurance.
