Me. CM Punk doesn't belong in a major promotion, but rather an independent one.

He is, without a doubt in my mind, a worthy champion. But, pitting him against the Raw giants is a bit of a tough sell.

EDIT: CM Punk vs Kane has been done too many times. CM Punk vs JBL has now been done too many times. CM Punk vs Batista was a weak draw (face vs face usually is...). It's would be a bad time for CM Punk vs John Cena, because I think that they would put Cena over for the match. And I think it is too early for that. This is probably why the Championship Scramble was developed.

Because the way he won the whc. After edge was attacked he cashed in his money in the bank. If he would have win it fairly then I would like him being champ. But now wwe will try to make him into a worthy champ.

I think he is worthy since he doesn't do drugs so wwe can trust him and many kids love him.But wwe just put him to the champion early he should have wrestled many matches since other people don't watch ecw so people can't really know him better.

Mainly because they hadn't heard of him before he entered WWE, probably never watched ECW (no-one does) and feel that he won the title WAY too early. I don't feel this way, of course, but it's quite understandable why some do.

again with these cm punk questions, yall didn't see SS08, he beat JBL in a great match(my opinion), and also thats what you do with the MIB briefcase , you cash it in anytime you want and that what Punk did ,and look at edge he did it alot of time on champs(john cena 2, undertaker 1) so Cm punk just gave edge a piece of his own medicine and he deserve it and CM PUNK DESERVE TO BE WHC

Probably because he caught Edge off guard and won it with the help of Batista.

He has proven that he can keep the belt now so he is worthy in my book.

I really don't know because he is a great champion unless it's the fact he started out in E.C.W. I like him, he is not a pompous jerk like J.B.L.

And he doesn't attack other wrestlers from behind like Randy Orton or Edge do. He isn't pumped up on steroids like Hulk Hogan was. Maybe they are just mad because Cena isn't champ anymore. I guess that they will just have to live with it as long as he holds the belt. I hope this is a long time to come.

Some claim he won the belt unfairly by cashing in the money in the bank after poor little Edge got beatup by Batista. I find it hilarious that they seem to forget the fact that Edge did exactly the same thing, twice. Selective memory is a wonderful thing for some people, like fans of Edge, who feel the rest of the fans don't appreciate his wrestling skills. Edge acts like a jerk and therefore should be treated as one and booed regularly, after all it's all part of being a W.W.E. fan, the option to cheer or boo whoever they want. And not use some lame excuse to justify it.

Instead of thinking about the way he won (because Vince told him how to win the match) think of the person himself.

I love LOVE CM Punk and all...he's my second favorite.

But he's only been in the WWE for about 2 years now...and he's already champion. I know he's doing and excellent job; he's an amazing wrestle, an amazing performer, and a good person...but he's young in the company. I think someone should with more time in should win the belt. You have to work your way up and gain respect in this business. Punk did it all maybe a little too fast.

He's scrawny, sloppy and hasn't won clean since he got the belt. Once Orton comes back, Punk will lose the belt and go back to the mid card where he belongs.
