Why do so many people dislike Elisabeth Hasselbeck &...?

some of the other women on The View? Is it because she is openly conservative & expresses her views that are unlike her colleagues (Whoopi, Joy, Babwa, & Sherri?) Take a look at this video:

They say she is the reason that Rosie left the show, that & I'm pretty sure she is antifeminist. What do you think?

I don't like her because she tends to suck up to some other conservatives (Sean Hannity, etc.) who are far more deserving of dislike. But The View itself annoys me, too. Sitting around listening to a group of people talk might work for radio, but not TV.

Hasselback is an idiot known for being a reality star- oh big whoop- she's so dumb- why doesn't she go home and stay barefoot and pregnant or something- I don't even know why they brought her on that show.

I've lost a lot of respect for the women on that show- they all seem to be afraid of Barbara Walters- my opinion of her has totally changed since she created that show- if she wanted real opinions she shouldn't stifle the other girls- half of them are scared to say how they really feel and I applaud Rosie for leaving that terrible show- she was the only thing that made it good.

They are all Barbara's B*tiches IMO and it's sad that all the stay at home mom's keep the show alive. It's mindless c**p now.

Thank God for Rosie leaving the show.  I can't stand that loud mouth bee itch!  The networks are mainly  liberal. How do you think our troops feel when they hear about what  the Liberals are saying about the Iraq War?  They bring the morale  level down. and it is refreshing to see Elisabeth giving her opinions on a Liberal network.  Rosie is in a war against herself.  I hope she never returns to the airwaves again, i will turn her off and there were times i could have used a sledge hammer to my t.v. lol   I don't think Elisabeth is anti-feminist.  she  is anti-stupidity.

I think lots of people dislike the other women on that show too, to judge by stuff written about them.

That's the kind of show it is ~ they take a bunch of people with divergent viewpoints, and ask them a question they know they will disagree about.

People are going to 'like' or 'dislike' each person on the show depending on whether they agree with them, think they are sympathetic or relate to them and their views better.

But the fact is, unless you are a tv star yourself, you don't know the person at all. Really, they are just talking heads on tv and get paid plenty of money to be controversial.

Don't worry about feeling too sorry for or too defensive of any of them ~ for them it's a pay cheque. For the rest of us, it's a tv show (that we don't even get in Australia, lol).

She doesn't know anything about anything. I truly have no idea why she is still there. It is a joke to see a discussion between her and Whoopi or Joy. These people are savvy and bright, they also have done a lot in their professional life. Her presence is an insult to Conservative America. Not all conservatives are that stupid and emotionally unbalanced. However, she is somewhat cute for now, and Sherri seems to be protecting her from sharp remarks Joy makes from time to time. But I do not see the reasons for adoration she is experiencing from the Bible belt states. Most of the people who live there are much more intelligent than this little piece of fluff to fall continuously for her crocodile tears.

She's pretty conservative, from what I've read (somewhere). I am just surprised that this supposed morning show has turned into a soapbox.

Bawbwa WaWa should really step in more often, as she knows what it's like to be a lady in television. She seems to be the most level-headed of all of them, and I applaud her for being somewhat neutral. I wanna read her bio.

Have you seen the Family Guy that makes fun of the View? They're all clucking like hens and Star lays an egg? HAHAHA

She's not antifeminist at all.  She is a Christian conservative wife and mother who wants a job on Faux News but doesn't have the chops for it.    People don't like her because she's a whiny, spoiled, ignorant (Bill Geddie tells her what to say) brat who babbles on and on and doesn't actually listen to anyone who disagrees with her.  She cannot keep up her end of a discussion when the big guns - Whoopi and Joy - are at it.  She may have hastened Rosie's departure, but she didn't bring it on.  The View is deteriorating and a lot of it is because of her.  BaWA and Bill should bring in a different, smarter conservative commentator to replace her.

She knew she was losing the argument over the N word so she burst into tears.  Way to go, Bitsy!

Rosie was going to be fired. She was too controversial. Her whole thing about our troops being terrorist was the last straw. After she said that, she tried to turn it around on Elisabeth, saying that she should have defended her. ELISABETH THOUGHT THAT SHE WAS SAYING WHAT ALL AMERICA THOUGHT THAT SHE WAS SAYING! How can she defend her when she knew what she was saying was wrong? Anyways....Elisabeth isn't Anti-Feminist. She just has some Traditional Views. I love her so much.

Has anyone noticed that she is the only conservative on The View....isn't it supposed to be about all different views on things? All the other women are Liberals, yes, even Babwa. Even though she "doesn't give out her political stand", it is evident.

I also hate how the other women just bluntly say horrible things about the President in front of Elisabeth like she doesn't care that they are bashing her view. She doesn't go all crazy like Whoopi does with her "I think this....I think that!" Whoopi thinks that she is so wise....really, for a crack headed L*****n she might be, but she isn't anything like she thinks. she is.

She is irritatingly self-righteous, and overtly conceited.  She is a nobody from a reality show, and just happened to marry somebody famous.  What has SHE really done to earn a place at the table...NOTHING.
