Why do so many people go missing each year?

why are names not scrolling on the bottom of every single newcast? the only time i hear about a missing person without trying is for 7 seconds during my local 10 o'clock news channel. if so many people are missing why is that not big deal? i don't get it. im not asking for the world to tilt the opposite way to find every missing person, i'm saying the worst division III polo team gets more coverage than most people that people who go missing. I dont know anyone personally who has ever been kidnapped, gone missing, etc. but my job requires me to gather sensitive info about people so that they can rent an apartment. i have nothing against people who across country. but i always wonder if that kid or that young man sitting across from me was abducted ya kno

Well, if the person in question is a pretty young white girl, you better believe the media will be all over that.

Less than 2% of missing children are stranger-abducted. Most were taken by the non-custodial parent. That's why the organization concerned with the issue had to change its name. Look at the divorce rate among couples with minor children. There is enough rancor there to start a war.

When you add in teenagers who are run aways and adults who flee to escape debt or criminal indictment, the numbers add up.

I think it has evolved from an underground culture that has  always existed.  Evil is real, and alive and well on planet Earth.  

I believe many powerful people on this planet are slave traders, and many many more deranged souls do their bidding.

Thousands an hour for a prominent Senator from NY to probably get whipped by a 22 yr old from NY?  How about the zillionaires looking for the next thrill?   The pedophile priests should have opened many eyes but they did not.
