  1. alot of people may not like the unedited versions of songs because of the laugage and profinity used throughout that particular song.  i honestly do not care for any of the rap songs that are unedited due to that reason! but thats just my opinion!

  2. Most of their problems come in whenever they start to like the edited version better because the edited one is the "perfect" one cause in the UNEDiTED version, they never saw what wsa wrong.

  3. People apparently get their panties in a knot when they hear that stuff.  One time my wife and I are going out with some friends and driving in my car when Jason Aldean's "Johnny Cash" came on my XM in the car.  This is the unedited version where he says "s***w you, man" instead of "I'm out of here"...my friend's wife threw a fit in hearing it, saying it wasn't appropriate, etc.  So I made sure she heard the line of "The man in black is gonna rock your *** again." :P

  4. Sammie  said it perfectly.. There are people who don't like profanity and rather the edited versions of music because of it. Either personal preference or to protect younger people from adult language.

I personally rather the unedited versions of songs as I get the true vibe of what the artist was trying to convey (some do it for a reason, some rather f and n it every other word for no reason except they can)

  5. Because some people can't handle a couple swear words. Some artists have had to go so far as to release two different versions of a song, like Steve Miller Band with "Jet Airliner". These people should be listening to Radio Disney if they want everything to be 'G' rated. This is why I have satellite radio so I don't have to put up with all the terrestrial radio/FCC garbage.

  6. There's nothing bad with uncutt raw lyrics.  The whole idea is that children should not be subjected to hearing it with out the permission of their parents.  Because the kids can learn bad catch phrases and then say them at the most "Bad Timing" time when someone is in the room who might judge.

Thus the parents get embarroused and they don't want to appear as the parents who talk like that around the children.  Then the parents lose respect among the other parents & face it, the PTA meetings and other Parent Social networks is where the High School mentality reappears for most parents.  They don't want to be embarroused.

So when you ride around with your windows down & your system up, recognize, the old guy who's complainin, aint complainin about the uncutt song, he's worried about his Kid learning new words that could potentially make the poor old guy look bad....
