Why do so many people let their kids run around Wal-Mart and other big stores on their own?

Don't they know that the sexual predators hover in the places that kids usually huddle... like electronics, toys, etc.?

1) They figure the cameras will see if anything happens.

2) They do not want the kids with them all the time.

3) They think the kids will run and yell if a stranger tries anything.

If I had kids, h**l no I wouldn't let them run around like that. I work at a large clothing store part time on weekend evenings, and let me tell you I DESPISE the people who let their children do that.

And then one of them turns up, freaking out because they can't find their child. Well no freaking kidding!

Why do so many people actually shop at Walmart, considering the horrendous work environment in China, AND the substandard environment of it's US employee's?
