Why do so many people think that if you haven't been diagnosed with anything, then there is nothing wrong with you and your problems must not be real?

It's often tricky to find the root of the problem, so it can take a long time to diagnose. If somebody has an undiagnosed problem, it doesn't mean that there is no problem, it just means that it has not been identified yet.

People refuse to be understanding and considerate and rather treat you like dirt and accuse you of various things and show intolerance until you can prove that your problem is real and that you are not just making up excuses.

Do people seriously think problems don't exist if they are not obvious and quickly provable?

  1. Try working for the insurance company and seeing how much it costs for them to take their time figuring out whats wrong...that will scare a lot of people.

One lady, that was finally diagnosed with Celiac Spru after 2 YEARS because they didn't do this simple test that should have been a given for someone experiencing gastointestinal problems as severe as hers. Guess how much that cost for all the various testing etc. Over $500,000, so yeah I can see why people are impatient.

  2. wuts wrong wit me????

  3. My aunt would go to the ER many times with heart problems and they would send her home only to be air lifted to another hospital moments after she got home. She knew her body and what the signs were. If she wouldn't have insisted many times she would have died at an early age.

I think the Doctors need to take a refresh course on taking time with the patient that's paying their bill like it use to be in the old days. Now days patients are scheduled every 15 minutes. I use to be a receptionist I know.

Go and get other opinions. Hey put it on this site one of us may know the answer to your problem and it want cost you thing.God bless you,

  4. most people think "the doctor cant find a problem, so i'm fine!" but it could be a new desiase (sorry i cant spell it) and be MUCH MUCH worse than they think

  5. same **** wit mymom but she know somethings wrong, but they cantfind the problem..

  6. I guess they feel better in thinking there is nothing wrong with them.  It's enough for them, because it probably isn't as bad as what they were originally thinking. To me, I'd be freaked out if I knew something was wrong with me but it could not be diagnosed right away.  That means it must be something really weird.
