  1. "Global warming" is a disingenuous term that no real researcher uses. It's more commonly (and inappropriately) used in layman conversation.

The correct term is "global climate change", meaning that some places will get hotter, others colder, or wetter, drier, or remain virtually the same.

  2. Because global warming is not a blowtorch that eliminates winter. It's a small but steady increase in AVERAGE temperature that will cause great damage if we do nothing.

For a short time, in some places, winter weather can overcome global warming. But, long run, over the whole Earth, the AVERAGE temperature is increasing. NASA data:

We need to do something about that.

  3. we must remember global warming is cause of changer of temperature in the world

  4. Global warming is a myth, its a tool by the people in power to further control us. If they say it enough, it will sound true, and apparently it does.

  5. Because in other places high records are being set. It was in the 80s last weekend here in Austin. It is the global average going up that makes global warming, not local cold snaps. And the rise is not monotonic, meaning it does not go only up, it can go up and down and up again, but the trend is generally higher over the long term, like decades long.

  6. Read up about global warming, you clearly haven't yet.

It doesn't simply mean that ALL temperatures will rise. Certain weather patterns and currents will be affected by it, and this can lead to a lowering of temperatures.

  7. I think we should be more worried about the meteorite heading our way!!

  8. The ever widening parameters of weather records is one of the symptoms of global climate change.
