Why do so many teenagers ware hollister and text so much

I'm a teenager, but I don't do any of that. I dont own a myspace nor facebook, I read, I dont text, andI dont ware Hollister and Abercrombie. Why is that? Why can't people act like themselfs and not like others,

and they think its kool even though its not

they just wanna be like everyone else they dont know how to lead their own life. they just copy what ever everyone else is doing.

i think its pretty stupid too.

because America is a place where self expression is frowned upon by the "glamorous people" who all seem to think anything with the name of an expensive store is cool and are all to self conscious or lie too much to consider talking to people. Also, anything that makes life easier is "cool" because you can sit and get fat while "talking" to more than one person at a time, shortening full sentences into a few letters, like lol and brb.

well i text but i dont wear holloster or abercrombie. i wear areopostlae sometimes and i get my colothes from walmart, consinment stores, and handme downs from my aunt and my moms freinds. i shop at areopostle for jeans and shirts sometimes but i get only ai  couple things. and i love to read. so maybe its just some and not others? its just the way they like to do things

I am also a teenager, i read aswell and i don't ware any of thoses cloths. I text and use facebook to keep in touch with my friends. People act like other ppl cuz they want to fit in.
