Why do some Celtic leagues refuse to recognize Asturia as a Celtic nation?

It is indisputable that the Celtic peoples migrated west from eastern europe with a large portion settling in modern day northen Spain and parts of southern France long before their arrival in the Bristish isles. There exists today a strong celtic tradition in Asturia, Spain as much as in any other recognized celtic nation.

  1. Probably because what most people consider to be celtic is actually a celtic/norse cross as was found in the british isles. Most don't even consider the mainland european celts even though they were the british celts ancestors.
