Question:

Why do some Christians think this is okay in the bedroom?

Alot of my friends have vibrators. I wish I didn't know this, but they are the open type. My question is, isn't s*x with your spouse supposed to be your form of sexual fulfillment? Is there scriptural support to okay having a vibrator?

  1. Please give me their names and addresses and I'll come talk to them.

  2. Let's see, think about it, God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of homosexuals, unclean, unnatural, and perverted acts. You have to wonder, what do lesbians use? Do you think  they might possibly use a vibrator, after all, they don't have a p***s. So in that sense, would it be right, when the bible tells us homosexuality is wrong? Just my thoughts, I don't really have an opinion.

  3. Because their s*x life is nobody's business.  Including your deity's.

  4. "Thou shall not use electrical-mechanical devices shapeth as a p***s to get thyself off."

I guess thats why the amish dont use electricity at all!

  5. jeeez y r u worrying about what other ppl do. i dont believe in god. i tried the whole catholic thing and found that im more of a buddhist than anything. i dont like the whole god thing. so i dont really no. but just mind your own business.

  6. maybe they have their vibrators blessed in church

  7. If you are actually serious, then yes they did exist back then. Cleopatra was the first person to use a vibrator. She would have her slaves round up bees and fill dried gourds with them, then seal the ends with wax. I have no clue if this made it into the Roman and Greek texts. Therefore into Christianity, not that I ever stumbled across in my studies. But they did exist.

  8. Hello,

I think scripture does elude to the fact that in a married sexual relationship, anything goes so long as the seed is deposited in the right spot at climax. How it gets there is up to them.

    Cheers,

    Michael Kelly

  9. pretty sure they didnt have vibrators back then. but... i dont really see anything wrong with it.

  10. Everybody with an evil vibrator will burn in h**l!!!!!!!!!!

  11. I bet you have a boring s*x life, I'm not trying to be mean really. I think you should try a vibe, you'll probably really like it.

  12. There is absoluteley no condemnation of masturbation found anywhere within the pages of scripture.  Masturbation is a completely natural and normal thing - i.e. it is part of Gods design.

  13. If you believe that masturbation is sinful, then having a vibrator would naturally be sinful.  There's absolutely no scriptural support for the idea that masturbation is sinful, but some churches teach against masturbation nevertheless.

If you believe that masturbation is a normal and healthy part of our God-given sexuality, then vibrators simply add a bit of variety.

And of course, a vibrator doesn't have to be used just for solo s*x.  Many couples use them as part of their s*x life.

  14. Mike Kelly----- SOOO you're saying that if a wife were to give her husband a HJ, he would have to 'go' inside her and Plant the seed in order for it to be ok? lol

And I think the whole church frowning apon masturbation means they dont want a guy or girl lusting after someone who isnt their husband or wife- which it clearly talks about in the bible.

But I dont really have that problem so i dont know. I think its mostly taught to boys.

  15. That's ridiculous. A female o****m isn't a requirement for conception (sometimes it increases chances by moving the cervix, but not a necessity), yet they exist. Therefore God wanted you to enjoy s*x.

I can MAYBE understand your reasoning for not wasting male orgasms, but female orgasms? Where's the problem?

  16. There is nothing wrong with using such toys as long as it does take away from the relationship between the married couple.

  17. The Bible says nothing (that I've found) about that being wrong. However, if it causes you to lust after someone or think lustful thoughts, you're responsible for that and the it is sin. Committing adultery is defined as having s*x with someone who isn't your spouse, or even lusting after them. So if owning a vibrator causes you or anyone else to stumble, don't have one.

A person who knows something is wrong and does it anyway, sins. You can reverse that by assuming that if you don't believe it is wrong you aren't sinning. God will convict you of it in His own way if it is wrong.

  18. Sweet Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, why the h**l should it actually matter?!?!

Did you know that there was actually a Medieval s*x manual produced by the church?  Some smart clergy worked out that married couples who had more s*x produced more children, and married couples with an interesting love life, had more s*x.

Why do some denominations of Christianity *still* think s*x is evil?

Gaaargghggghhh!  I give up on you people!

  19. vibrators can be used during the act of s*x w/ your spouse, but who cares anyway. Why don't you worry about your own genitalia?

  20. I believe that qualifies as m*sturbation, which is frowned upon from what I've been told. You know, s*x for procreation, not pleasure..

  21. Actually, s*x is supposed to be for procreation. Period! Read your bible. I don't agree but that is what it says!

  22. Your spouse should be consulted of course. The Bible doesn't specifically address the subject.

Heb 13:4 -- Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled...

  23. I think this is something that should be a personal decision

  24. The decision whether or not to use inanimate objects is for the couple to make together.

Religion does not factor into this whatsoever.

  25. According to the bible s*x is limited to reproduction so vibrators and masturbation is ok.
