Why do some Egyptian guys get really angry when somebody looks at thier wives?

..would the reaction or amount of anger change if she was his gf and not his wife?

Plz somebody explain why the get so angry when the guy has done nothing but look...?

the husband feels that the stranger doesnt respect his presence .

the wife is walking under the protection of her husband .

no one should dare look at her , or else what is he there for ?

such a rude behavior raises the anger of the husband .

and about the thing u mention about findin honor in killing women, that's not true ,, they would want to kill a woman because she has brought shame to the family by talkin to involving her with stranger guys and people would talk about her in a bad way for that .. so she brought shame ..

Men get jealous if someone is gazing are there wives, that's all wat there is ,, the level of jealousy here is very high ..

I don't worry about this issue.. coz I make d**n sure that nothing my wife acts or wears will attract the guys attention to stare at her.. and therefore I don't face this problem.. never

I do not thing that is some special thing about Egyptians

as long as a girl is out "walking going coming buying selling driving in streets or markets or university " so either if she is alone or accompanied sure she will find eyes but some have these accidental looks or verifying looks which considered very normal and others have the dirty looks which any one would dislike

its not a matter of man thinking that "hey you are steeling my privacy or my private piece" i do not suppose that is the idea

i suppose the respect of oneself is very low to start at the girl looking at her with open dirty eyes

In Egypt .... women r totally free to do whatever they want ... to work where ever they want .....

it is not about being egyptian. it is about being a natural human being.

gazing at others (whether women or men) and observing their behaviors is generally considered impolite behavior world wide.

and gazing with "lust" is something that irritates any normal man in any place of the world.
